BEDSTONE FAMILY HISTORY PAGE
Family HistoryThe information about the churchyard was originally transcribed by members of the Bedstone Women’s Institute.
The plan below is an approximation of the positions of the 120 gravestones and memorials within the churchyard. The earliest legible inscription records a death in 1857, but a significant number of inscriptions were completely illegible but those that are legible have been noted and can be read by hovering your mouse over the black cross. This may not work in some browsers and may not respond or appear correctly in some very small screens due to the density of the gravestones.
A red cross + on the plan indicates that the gravestone is illegible, also it should be pointed out that with the passage of time the legibility of these recorded inscriptions will have suffered further deterioration.
An alphabetical list of gravestones can be found here.
